Stuart and Kayla,

Thank-you so much for working with us this week. We have all benefited from the experience. Even the parents were talking of their children's enthusiasm last night. One even asked if copies could be made of the DVD. We know that you have a lot of work to do on it all this weekend and appreciate what you are doing.

Things that we particularly identified were:

• children motivated and actively talking about the project
• a quiet and calm approach by yourselves that enabled the children to interact with you in a relaxed informal way, without silliness
• your abilities in initiating discussion and problem solving
• children engaged in making decisions and reasoning their thoughts, working together to a solution (it was really good to see the five weather boys all participating in this)
• children who don't usually stand out, contributing with confidence

You are clearly enjoying this project too. If we were to try this again maybe we could be more effective if we helped with the modelling, leaving you both with more time to work on the filming with small groups of children.

Anyway we eagerly await the product, thanks again.
