- what skills have you learned on this project?
- What not to look like in a video, only joking! Seriously, I think I have learned a lot of skills of how to interact with the camera (through error)!
- how was filming?
- It was great fun, we were really lucky with the weather and everything ran smoothly.
- what part of the project did you enjoy the most?
- Creating the song
- would you like to be involved in film-making again?
- Yeah, I think so because this time was a good experience.
- what aspects of film making would you like to be involved with?
- The planning of ideas.
- what have you learned from working in a team?
- I have learned a lot actually cos' every team situation is different. This situation was intensified because of working on a very creative level with a lot of creative people, so as you can imagine, a lot of ideas were flying around.
- has the project changed your views on wildlife and ecology?
- Uh, definitely! I look at the world in a whole new light, and have begun to appreciate nature, and try to offer it the respect it deserves.
- do you watch tv differently now you’ve experienced filming and editing?
- Yes, I notice and understand what effort and skill and creativity goes into producing even a short film.
- have you watched more wildlife programmes since making a perfect world?
- Yes, animals are amazing , and I think I took them for granted a bit.
- what message would you like people to get from your video?
- A positive message that we as humans we are in charge
of the fate of the world, and let's face it,we're doing a
lot wrong, because everything is far from perfect.Maybe
the first step is eating healthier therefore altering our
view of ourselves and the world around us. Not that I can
talk!!! But I do try!
I would like to explain the lyrics:- 'Castle in the Sand' being our world (material things) and the sand being the actual world (nature). Bit deep I know! The sand is the most important thing - without it there would no castle.
